1. Service Description

ScoopOps is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform designed for pet waste removal businesses. The platform helps operators manage customers, schedule services, optimize routes, process payments, and communicate with their clientele.

ScoopOps is a business tool — we provide the software platform only. We are not a pet waste removal company and do not perform any physical services. The quality and delivery of pet waste removal services are the sole responsibility of the individual business using ScoopOps.

2. Account Responsibilities

When you create a ScoopOps account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Keep your password secure and not share it with others
• Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access to your account
• Be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
• Ensure your team members comply with these Terms

You must be at least 18 years old and authorized to enter into contracts on behalf of your business to create an account.

3. Subscription and Billing

ScoopOps offers a free tier and paid subscription plans. Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance.

Payments

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis. All prices are in US dollars unless stated otherwise.

Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you will continue to have access to paid features until that date. We do not offer prorated refunds for partial billing periods.

Plan changes

You may upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately. If downgrading causes you to exceed the new plan's limits (e.g., customer count), your data will be retained but some features will be restricted until you are within the plan limits.

Price changes

We may change subscription pricing with at least 30 days' notice by email. Continued use of the platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.

4. SMS Communications and Consent

ScoopOps enables business operators to send automated SMS messages to their customers for service-related purposes (completion notifications, reminders, review requests, and billing).

Operator obligations

By adding a customer's phone number to ScoopOps and enabling SMS communications, you represent that:

• The customer has provided their phone number to your business
• You have a legitimate business relationship with the customer
• You will honor customer opt-out requests promptly
• You will use SMS features only for service-related communications

Customer opt-out

End customers can opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. They may also contact their service provider directly or update preferences in the customer portal. Opt-out requests are processed immediately.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use ScoopOps to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation
• Send unsolicited or deceptive communications to customers
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the platform or other accounts
• Reverse engineer, copy, or resell any part of the platform
• Upload or transmit malicious code or content
• Use the platform for any purpose other than managing a legitimate service business
• Scrape or bulk-export data for use outside the platform without our permission

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without prior notice.

6. Intellectual Property

The ScoopOps platform, including its design, code, and content, is owned by ScoopOps and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the platform for its intended purpose during your active subscription.

You retain ownership of your business data (customer records, service history, etc.) that you input into the platform. You grant us a limited license to store and process that data to provide the service.

7. Limitation of Liability

ScoopOps is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet every specific requirement of your business.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ScoopOps will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform — including lost revenue, lost data, or business interruption — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the platform will not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. You can close your account from the account settings page. We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these Terms, non-payment, or if we decide to discontinue the service (with reasonable notice).

Upon termination, your access to the platform will end. We will retain your data for 30 days after termination, during which you may request an export. After that period, data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes will be resolved through good-faith negotiation first. If that fails, disputes will be submitted to binding arbitration rather than court, except for claims that qualify for small claims court.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised Terms on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. For material changes, we will notify active account holders by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
